There’s little comfort to be had after an 18-point lead evaporates and results in a loss. Especially when it happens on your home floor like it did tonight when the Trail Blazers fell to the Los Angeles Clippers 74-71. But on this night there is something that might ease the pain a bit. The team knows what went wrong.

There’s no denying it was a rough night in the Rose Garden. The Trail Blazers fell to the Washington Wizards 124-109 and did it in an ugly fashion.

All anyone is talking about right now is the block... or rather the goaltend. Of course that’s the story of the night. Did LaMarcus Aldridge put a clean block on Kevin Durant’s shot in the final seconds? Or was the goaltend the correct call to give the Oklahoma City Thunder the tie with the Trail Blazers to send the game to overtime?
