This is OUR Team

By Keegan19
It all started with a knee injury. A career ending injury which led SG Brandon Roy to retire from the game indefinitly. With news in hand there was only one thing for the Blazers to do. Revamp, Retool. However, loss after loss started piling up and we all know how last season ended....

But now i hear talks of trade rumors, of inconsistant play. Of players not trying there best out on the court. Dwight Jaynes has shown his thoughts of trading lamarcus aldridge and how that could benifit us in the long run.

With such an emotional young team, having an All-Star (and he is an All-Star Dwight), will undoubtably benefit this team. with losses like Washington and the emotions of losing running high there is a sense of doubt with the fans. But to trade our centerpeice would tell the community and tell lamarcus aldridge that we do not believe in him.

I think that thats all this team needs, is a little bit of hope even when we are losing. To get the BLAZER media out of there faces and just let them learn and grow and enjoy the game. We dont want it to take damian lillard 7 seasons like it took lebron too know who he is as a person and who he is as a player. and at this point all we are doing is suffocating this team and suffocating the players. NO TRADE TALKS, NO MORE MEDIA PRESSURE about la or wes or batum. JUST LET THEM DO THERE THING.

  1. To Dwight Jaynes, sensationalist journalism from a guy who wants headlines. To jump on one of the best PFs in the NBA who played through pain and back spasms and in one of those games got 32pts, 10 boards, 3 blocks, 3 steals and a bunch of assists is ridiculous. Is Jaynes trying to get a job in Minnesota? What he's selling, I'm not buying. It's like the villagers with torches and pitchforks looking for a monster when there isn't one. We are a young team in transition and it'll take time. I've got all year to watch chemistry develop and enjoy the growth of these young guys. This is OUR Team!! Go Blazers!
