Homestand At an End

By bigblazerfan101
I was totally disappointed in the effort I saw against Sacramento. Our team never seemed to have their usual energy. Defensive intensity was poor. Shots didn't drop. Delambert had enough height and strength to shut down Lamarcus on the low block. Give the Kings credit. When your team is in last place with only 10 wins, you have nothing to lose. The Kings came out blazing and the Blazers just couldn't consistently answer. When we got to within 4 in the 4th quarter, I thought the Blazers would settle down and take control as in the New Jersey and Indiana games. But we were turnover happy and the Kings came down with a dagger 3 by Evans to eliminate any comeback thoughts.

The Blazers will need to lay everything on the line tonight to contain the Celtics. The Celtics can score bigtime and they have that next level of lockdown D that most teams dream about. Say what you will about old veteran players, superstars, they are the elite team in the East.

Lets give 'em a great game and the Blazers will need the 6th man tonight to be loud and at full throttle intensity.
