Trailblazer turmoil, nothing new

By pdgwhof
I have been a fan of the team since i can remember and this year is no different than many others.... Players hurt, turmoil, worry, angst...the list goes on....

Today it seems the team is playing better without their all-star than with.... is that possible?  Why is it we have to jump from one extreme to another... Yeah Brandon is struggling, and yeah the team looks pretty good without him. I would say that over the years when the Blazers have had to play without Brandon, they have stepped up more times than not. What that says to me is we have a deep and taleted team...not to take anything away from what Brandon brings but without him others are required to step up and they have been! I personally like our offense better played through LA... out of Brandons hands and moved around... When brandon is there too many players defer to him, not because they have to but because he is that guy and he is good...at some point you wonder when that player would make his teammates better rather than holding them back... I dont think it is Brandons fault it is a mindset...it is brandons team.... OR Is it? I hope the team continues to grow and build it's belief in who they are as a group, and i hope and pray Brandon can bring his play back and fit in, not demand the ball but allow his teammates to work and give him even better opportunites... It sucks Brandons knees are as they are, but it is a fact, and I am happy the team seems to be stepping up and learning about each other without BRoy on the floor!

Times change but being a Blazer fan continues to be turmoil filled! This team has a chance to do special things....and it has to do more with belief in themselves than anything else....talent is there, you can disagree but they can be as good as they believe!

Go Blazers!

  1. Definitely not Brandon's team; it's Paul Allen's team.
