we need to drum up even more crowd involvement at the games. in the second half of the season, we can help take the team to new heights. we have one of the sharpest crowds anywhere, and should use that to greater advantage. at timbers matches they have player specific chants that go up when certain players make a hustle play. with as active of a crowd as the blazers have, we should get some more portlandesque support flowing. if they flashed some things on the jumbo-tron regularly, it'd come together in no time. we need a chant for after a 3 pointer, a chant for after a big block. a way of showing support when someone takes a charge (everyone standing and leaning back with their arms at their sides) or dives to the floor. next time lamarcus drains a shot, i'd love to hear everyone yelling "smooth!" or when juwan's shot falls, "age-less won-der" clap, clap.. clap, clap, clap.
let's rain down even more energy on our guys!
There was a group called BlazerChanters that tried to get something going earlier. You should totally hook up with those guys!
They used to have a drumline at the games, but haven't seen it this year, which sucks, because I loved it! I thought it gave us a college type atmosphere. I think it'd be sweet to have the local high school bands rotate each game.
when the drumline played during our possessions, we seemed to miss a lot of shots.
