Singing Our National Anthem for the Trail Blazers

I've been a fan of the Trailblazers for about ten years now and didn't know they actually had open tryouts to sing the National Anthem until it was too late to audition last year. This year - I made sure to look for a notice on the Blazer site at the end of summer.  I'm very excited to have the opportunity!

I'll be singing tonight as the Blazers get ready to take on the LA Clippers. Wish me luck (or "break a leg")!  I'll let you know how it goes :)  - or, if you're there...you'll know exactly how it goes. 

GO BLAZERS!

(and for everybody watching the Holiday Bowl earlier tonight (and for Jerryd Bayless). BEAR DOWN, ARIZONA!

  2. Thanks, Darpunk. Knowing Nate's condition, I was very, very careful to make sure I knew all the words - really didn't want a new Blazer injury on my hands if he had to channel Maurice. But I kept my eye out for him just in case!
