Dec 21

Who here is friends or family of RipCity? You? Ok.

The good news is the doctor was able to get the bleeding to stop. Now, he's still pretty banged up, but the brain function is fine and he still has all his fine motor skills. It looks like he'll make a full recovery. He just needs to take it day to day. It will be important for you to help keep his spirits up during this long recovery, because sometimes it will be very difficult, and he's going to feel very worn out until his injuries fully recover.
Now again, this is going to be a slow process. You won't see much difference over night. But over the next couple months you should see him starting to regain bits and pieces of his old abilities, his confidence will come back and you should see a great improvement come March and into April. Now the doctor has assigned him to some of the best Physical Therapists and Trainers in the business and they should be able to keep him on schedule to make that recovery.

Right now he's in post-op, but you should be able to see him again tomorrow around 5:30pm. Whether tomorrow will be a good day, or bad day is really 50/50 at this point in the recovery process. We'll just have to wait and see, but either way your support will help him in his recovery.

Now go home and get some rest yourself. You've had a long month.
