VIDEO: Every Second Of Damian Lillard's Win In The Skills Challenge

Damian Lillard wrapped up his participation in All-Star Weekend accepting a trophy for winning the Taco Bell Skills Challenge—he’s the first Trail Blazer in franchise history to win any event during All-Star Saturday Night.

During his first round he glided to the fastest time in the field of six players representing the West and East bumping defending champion Tony Parker, Jeremy Lin, Brandon Knight and Jeff Teague from the competition to meet Jrue Holiday in the finals.

In the championship round he watched as Holiday miscued a couple passes during the circuit and struggled to make a shot from the top of the key earning him a time of 35.6 and leaving the door open for Lillard to take the crown.

Dame took to the floor for the last round and finished the course almost flawlessly with only two missed passes on his way to a final time of 29.8 second and the title!

And of course, you’re not officially a winner until you have the hardware. Congrats Dame!

  3. I remember Clyde had a chance to win the slam dunk contest one year, but he missed a couple of dunks an had some guy called 'Sky' Walker take the crown. Jerome was in the finals a couple years before, but he was against Jordan and NO WAY was Kersey gonna win that. So it was nice to see one of our own finally win one of these. Congrats Dame!

  4. Notice that Dame was the only "rookie" to compete in this event! :) "Rookie" & Dame don't go together ;) Dame's been a vet throughout his ENTIRE NBA career :) The guy is a rock, he's crazy good AND... he's only gonna get better! :)

  5. OHMIGOSH-Dame was INCREDIBLE! I can't wait to keep watching him as he plays more seasons in the NBA-he's a role model to point guards everywhere, and he's just PLAIN AWESOME!!!
