This past Media Day, I was fortunate enough to be able to sit down and interview the Trail Blazers and Head Coach Terry Stotts ... But these aren't your average, run-of-the-mill basketball questions. Without further ado, here is the next installment of "On The Clock" with Adam Morrison.
If you didn’t attend Gonzaga, where would you have played college basketball at?
Adam Morrison: Gonzaga or bust
Who is the one former NBA legend you would love to match up with 1-on-1?
AM: Larry Bird
Down by two with five seconds left to play on the road, do you go for the tie or the three for the win?
AM: Oh, the win. (
Ed Not: Of all the players, I asked this question to, Morrison responded for the win with the least amount of hesitation. A true gunslinger.)
If you could participate in any Olympic sport other than basketball, what would it be?
AM: Handball
Chucks or Vans?
AM: Low-top Vans
What’s your favorite breakfast cereal?
AM: Honey Nut Cheerios
The snack food you can’t live without?
AM: Nature Valley Sweet & Salty granola bars
What’s your least favorite food?
AM: Salad
The one food that has to be apart of your Thanksgiving dinner?
AM: Turkey
What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
AM: GI Joe
Better Trilogy: Back to the Future, Friday, or Star Wars?
AM: Star Wars (
Ed Note: Morrison kind of gave me a funny look when I asked him this question, like there could be any other answer. He definitely loves his Star Wars.)
If your house caught on fire and you could only save three things, what would they be?
AM: My kids, significant other, and insulin. Everything else is material.
Will we ever see Adam Morrison on Twitter?
AM: No. Never. If there's one (an Adam Morrison Twitter account) out there, it's fake.
What is your favorite thing about the city of Portland so far?
AM: The weather (
Ed Note: This question was asked during the string of sunny days, not sure if Adam would give the same answer if he looked outside his window. Although, at this exact moment, it's beautiful out. Maybe Adam just loves the random, ever-changing aspect of the weather here.)
If you were going to buy an exotic animal what would it be?
AM: Lion or any member of the feline family
Are you a dog or cat person?
AM: Dog (
Ed Note: I was surprised he went with dogs considering he said if he could be any animal, he'd be any member of the feline family.)
Have you checked out On The Clock with
Coach Terry Stotts
