Knee jinx in PDX?

What do you know another knee injury in Portland that will require surgery. I think this is retirement time for Elliott, the kid had a lot of potential and most fans thought he could be a starter very soon, this was not meant to be. There is always the possibility of a comeback after a surgery but after a second knee surgery the odds diminish exponentially. I wish E.W. all the best but I think his career with the Blazers is over unless he signs an extension for the league minimum. I think with his injury history he has the possibility of being a serviceable back-up, but not a starter on a team with several quality players at shooting guard. I see a lot more time for Will Barton.

Who should we look to sign to replace Elliott Williams?

What are your thoughts on the Portland knee jinx?

  1. Elliot injured his Achilles tendon. It runs up the back of the heel, not the knee.

  3. Sorry I wrote Knee, it was the Achilles tendon. Terrible none the less. "Career ending" I don't know but loss of another season, YES. In the end it may be better for the team as we could now sign him cheaper then if he had played this season.
