Wow I can't believe my team just signed Nick Batum to such a huge contract when there was an offer of Williams and three first rounders for him. Nick sure has a lot to prove both to his team mates and to fans. An all-star type contract is tough to live up to. The management believes he is worth it so we must go with it. Show everyone why you deserve a raise of these proportions.

  1. don't worry. whoever the new coach will be will let batum spread his wings and do what he wants to do on offense. If he wants to, i bet he could average almost 20 points a game for us. An All-Star type contract won't be tough to live up to for an All-Star type player in Batum. If we get the right coach, i can see his stats going up. don't forget last year was his first year without Roy or Oden so now he will be our number 2 for years to come!

  2. Yeah he had a coaching change in the middle of the season , thats never good for a young player. The new coach and point guard will help him out. I can see him avg 16-17 pts 4 rebounds. Which isnt as big of numbers as he should be with his new contract .... BUT if he puts up those numbers and Lillard produces decently, I wouldn't be surprised to see Blazers fighting for the 7-8 seed.
