Free agent back-up PG?

By mbmurr1 Posted in: Blazers
Are we going after a free agent pg to mentor lillard from a backup roll and if so who do you think it will be? I was hoping for Nate Robinson. What are your thoughts?
Next Story: Leonard and Lillard

  1. I dont like Nate hes a punk to me. I want CJ Watson just because he can be a starter . Beno Udrih would be good to , solid veteran.

  2. Aaron Brooks might be useful. Maybe Jordan Crawford (risky , similar to Jamal Crawford combo guard), Rodrigo Beaubois , AJ Price....

  6. I was thinking Jerryd Bayless maybe but he is now on the memphis grizzlies I guess, signed in last couple days.

  7. I still am thinking Nate Robinson as a back-up and mentor to Lillard. I think he is still a free agent? Most anyone of quality at the PG position is off the board. Perhaps John Lucas or Delonte West?

  8. CJ Watson signed with Nets. And Udrih plays for the Bucks. Jordan Crawfrod plays for the Wizards, and Beaubois plays for Mavericks.
Looking at whats left in the PG position vet in FA. there is not a whole lot left but there are few worth mentioning. AJ Price and Baron Davis would be my two top picks. then John Lucas.
Baron Davis, John Lucas iii, Mike Bibby, Nate Robinson (attitude problems?), AJ Price, Gilbert Arenas, Shannon Brown.

  9. What about Jonny Flynn? He will not be a mentor for Damian, but he is great as back-up. Plus - when Jonny played 20+ minutes, he was avg. 11 pts and 7 ast. Isn't bad, heh?
