Drummond's highlight mix is very underwhelming. It's just so hard to tell if he'll transfer over to the next level. Was he the product of poor guard play and a tumultuous system at UConn? Or does he really not love the game of basketball, as suspected, and just living on "potential"?
I agree, Drummond was expected by many to be the #1 pick this season and he has just not become that guy. If he was a fuel guy with as much crap as he has taken he would be the next Garnett but he just does not seem to care.
This is where we should make our decision to draft either Drummond (if he is still available) or Lillard with our 6th pick. Personally, I would take Lillard over Drummond. Drummond lacks the drive IMO, to reach his full potential, whilst Lillard has a very strong drive - all you have to do is watch his first License to Lillard video, and you can see that. Lillard's highlight reel is definitely impressive, and so was his workout with the Kings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=UyFJOEjZPFw#!
Is it just me or does Lillard game have a little Brandon Roy feel to it, watching him finish with either hand, hit threes and break down his defender had me feeling nostalgic anyone else get that vibe.
Looks like Drummond will be in tomorrow? Not sure why TBTV would not be there for that.
Confirmed via Andre himself on twitter that he is in the Rose City.
