Olympic Groupings Announced: Where Did Batum Land?

Looks like Trail Blazer Nicolas Batum, who will be representing France in the upcoming London Olympics, is in for some tough competition out of the gate.

Today the official draw for groupings took place and France and the USA landed in the same group.

Here are the groups:

- Group A: Argentina, France, Tunisia, USA, OQT 1, OQT 2
- Group B: Australia, Brazil, China, Great Britain, Spain, OQT 3 (The final three teams have yet to qualify)

Each team will play every other team in their group. The top four teams will then move on to an elimination bracket.

With top teams like Spain and now the United States taking some heavy losses to injury Batum and Les Bleus odds are ever increasing.

Are you excited to see Team USA take on Batum and the French during the prelims? I know I am. But then again, I have Olympic fever every two years.

  1. Hey Miss Sarah; I sure am excited. Wouldn't it have been wonderful if LaMarcus was healthy enough to play for USA. Wow that would be awesome.
    Miss Sarah, I would like your input on the article by quick with LaMarcus. If all that is true. the FO has to give more support to the Locker room leader. Of course it sounds like we took care of the problem, but it still bothers me.That is somewhat off topic so I won't push, well much, to tie it in to Batum though I now see why Batum was so angry about not making the play-offs. Ha Ha gotcha.

  2. I'm more excited about when they advance and play Spain (hopefully for the gold). Spain's seriously good and it'll be nice to see Rudy again.
