VIDEO: Hickson The Highlight Reel

By sarahhecht Posted in: JJHickson
It was quite a night for J.J. Hickson who blew the roof off of the Rose Garden with his ridiculously awesome antics. To say his dunks got the crowd rolling would be a bit of an understatement. On the night, he shot 7-of-10 from the floor for 18 points, nabbed eight rebounds, dished an assist, had a steal and blocked three shots.

Including this one...

Hickson On Playing With Aldridge

“Every practice we have, every game we have, we get a bit more comfortable. Tonight, I definitely got a little more comfortable with what we doin’ on the offensive end as well as defensive end. And like I said I’m just playing off him.”

“That’s always a confidence builder for myself to know that coach wants me in the game in crunch time at the end of the games.”

Aldridge on Hickson

“He’s so active. I’ve always wanted to play with somebody that was like him. A Lou Amundson, a Reggie Evans, somebody that’s active and always keeping guys on their toes. I thought he’s been big late in games when teams have been keying in on me, he’s been getting easy buckets. He’s been coming through for us.”

Felton on Hickson

“We definitely connected well. I think in the Clippers game and a couple times tonight. It’s good to have another athletic guy other than L.A. that can go above the rim and go get the ball where you throw it or throw it any other kinda way and they catch it. It’s always good to have two options like that.”
