1 KEY PLAY: CAVS 1/8/2012

By BDF444
The best thing about a loss in the NBA regular season is you get to play again in a few days.  Back in the comforts of the Rose Garden the Blazers beat the Cavs by 20.  The game was close in the first half, but the Blazers found their rhythm in the second half. LMA came out of the locker room on fire. As Bill Walton would say "his hair is literally aflame!".  Big night for LaMarcus who finished with 28 points, 8 coming during a huge 12-0 run for the Blazers.  I can't believe the lack of attention paid to LMA by the 4 letter network and other national media.

1 Key Play - Up 15, Raymond Felton dishes through a trio of Cavs to LaMarcus Aldridge for the easy lay up. 81-65, ball game.  I am hoping the Blazers just had a bad shooting bug @ PHX and for the first half of this game. The Blazers looked like themselves again in the second half.  It didn't hurt that the Cavs had 24 turnovers, resulting in 28 Blazer points.

Next: LA Clippers. Go Blazers!

  1. I love those plays where you instantly feel like the game is in the can. Though it's a bummer being on the opposite end when you realize you don't have a shot to come back... Good choice!
