Pre-Draft Workout Announced: Meet The Participants

The Trail Blazers announced Wednesday afternoon the six attendees for the first pre-draft workout. On June 6th Matthew Bryan-Amaning, Jon Diebler, Kenneth Faried, Corey Fisher, Austin Freeman, and Isaiah Thomas will workout at the Trail Blazers practice facility.
Get to know the prospects:
is a 6-9 Forward from the University of Washington. Bryan-Amaning averaged 15.3 ppg and 8.0 rebounds during the 2010-11 season. His senior year he was named the conference’s Most Improved Player and First Team All-Pac-10. As a native of London, England he last summer with the Great Britain senior national team. He’s also expected to represent his country in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
is a 6-6 Guard from Ohio State. Diebler averaged 12.6 ppg and 2.6 rebounds. He holds the Ohio State and Big Ten career three-point field goal record.
is a 6-7 Forward from Morehead State. Faried averaged 17.3 ppg and 14.5 rebounds. He was named the NABC Defensive Player of the Year and also named an NABC and AP Third Team All-American.

is a 6-1 Guard from Villanova. Fisher averaged 15.6 ppg, 4.8 apg and 2.8 rebounds. He was named Second Team All-Big East and was in a group of 20 finalist for the Bob Cousy Award. (The Cousy Award is given to the nation’s top point guard.)
is a 6-3 Guard from Georgetown. Freeman averaged 16.5 ppg and 3.5 rebounds during the 2010-11 season. He was named to the All-Big East Second Team. Freeman hit 44.4 percent of his three-point attempts and ranked 40th in the country in field goal percentage.
is a 5-9 Guard from the University of Washington. Thomas averaged 16.8 ppg, 6.1 apg and 3.5 rebounds during the 2010-11 season. He led the Huskies in scoring, assists, steals and minutes and was named to the First Team All-Pac-10. He also earned and AP All-American honorable mention. Thomas was a mid-season Wooden Award and Naismith Award candidate and one of the 10 Cousy Award finalists.
