Patty Mills Makes Memories With Fans

Patty Mills has incredibly devoted fans.
The Mills following has grown into a phenomenon in the Rose City. There’s just something about a rambunctious and eternally-happy Aussie that brings a smile to your face. Oh, and did I mention yet that he takes his fans to concerts? I’m not talking a school choir concert, I’m talking floor seats to the Usher OMG tour.
Yeah, you read that right. Thursday afternoon Patty tweeted, “Who’s lives in Portland and is free at 8 o’clock tonight?? Might have a good deal for someone who is interested. #hurryhurry.” That was quickly followed by his announcement that he was going to the Usher/Akon show and had three extra tickets for fans.
It didn’t take long for two lucky Twitter followers to nab the tickets and the opportunity to spend the evening dancing and singing with Patty.
Now the best part of this story isn’t the ticket giveaway or the simple fact that Patty decided to give them to fans. It’s the story of the girls who rocked out for a night with Pat Stacks himself.
Danielle and Pammi are two huge Trail Blazers fans, more specifically they’re huge Patty Mills fans. Oh, and they love Usher, does it get any better than that? On the verge of high school graduation Danielle leapt at the opportunity to attend a concert with her favorite Trail Blazer. Tweeting Patty with praises and excitement she flooded his Twitter timeline with responses that paid off in the ultimate evening for her and her older sister.
Filled with dancing, singing, picture taking and hugging Patty, Danielle and Pammi made memories that will last a lifetime. With graduation soon too come, this memory-filled time in life got even sweeter.
Graduate from high school, check. Attend very first concert, check. Rock out with Patty Mills at said concert, double check.
I’m making a guess here, but I think the memory of jamming with Patty will make the highlight reels for Danielle and Pammi. Then again, it’s just a guess.
