Captured Moments

One of the great things about an ending is the new beginning that follows. I guess that's why watching the seasons change is so special. It means growth and new opportunities to build on what came before or start fresh all together. As a dance team it is bitter sweet having to say goodbye to teammates and savoring the moments shared throughout our year. It's also an exciting time to get fired up for July auditions, waiting to see what the new team will be like and what new adventures await us. 

 I pulled out my scrapbook from my rookie year and I couldn't believe how quickly time had passed! Now at the end of my second year on the team I'm still reeling from the roller coaster ride we call a season, yet not quite ready for this ride to end. Time really does fly when you're having fun =) I have a bunch of great photographs to squirrel away into this years scrapbook and I feel blessed to have shared this year with some incredible people.

  1. those are some great shots, Veronica! it's easy to see that the team had a great time performing and hanging out together. it definitely shows. i can't believe the 2011-12 team selection is in july; that's right around the corner!

  2. I like your group pic in front of the Mickey garden. My family just got back from Disneyland and we had a blast. We spent most of the time at Cal Disney because the rides there were much cooler.

  3. @Kass We did have a blast this season! Tryouts sneak up on us so quickly. Time to hit the gym and some new dance classes. I'll be checking out Urban Arts new studio in Portland. They've got a great range of classes =)

    @Blazerfan77 Disney was so fun! It really is one of the happiest places on earth. We were like big kids in the park for sure. Good times!
