First off let me say I have been hospitalized 2x in the last 2 weeks with severe nosebleeds the 1st one lasting 2 hours and the 2nd lasting 5 hours.  I went to emergency as i live alone and am a little blood phobic anyway.  So I tried to stop them as long as I could but we all need help once in a while even the most independent of us.
Paul Allen refers to his team as his "financial model".  I hope that doesn't have a trickle down effect but when one of the 1st things they announce at a home game is "this is the 152nd sellout in a row" so maybe it does.  Like hearing Commander Patreaus say of Iraq "the 2nd largest deposit of oil is underground in the nation we are currently battling terrorists in", "wink".
So we win at home in game 6 and lose in 7.  Money was made both teams got better and bonded further in the playoffs.  However like the presidency once again the teams in the finals will more than likely be the ones bringing the most money into the nba.
Like the Bildeberger's the nba in my opinion is not hard and fast about it always being that way in fact a low budget team winning every 20 years or so makes it easier for fans to root for the home team in Minneasota or wherever.
Sports can be good entertainment and in some ways if you are an evolutionist a microcosm of the fight for survival.  If however you felt the pressure at an early age to be a professional athlete to pull your family out of the mediocrity you may have turned to jesus for self worth as he paid the ultimate price for our salvation and all things that pertain to life and godliness.  So whether the blazers lose in 6 or win in 7 it is easter season and I will stay with the theme of Romans 8:3131What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (end)  Go blazers but let us remember there are things more important in life than a basketball championship!
