Sacramento Elementary Shows Us Their Rip City UPRISE Spirit

The kids of Sacramento Elementary showed their Rip City UPRISE spirit Tuesday when they welcomed the Trail Blazers for a pep rally in preparation for Game 2 of the Trail Blazers vs. Dallas Mavericks Round 1 NBA playoff series.  Over 400 students crammed into the Parkrose school’s gymnasium on a sunny Tuesday afternoon sporting homemade Trail Blazers jerseys, headbands and 3 goggles. With help from Trail Blazers personalities Todd Bosma, Terry Porter, the BlazerDancers and Trail Blazers mascot, Blaze the Trail Cat, the students and faculty of Sacramento Elementary made so much noise, we were sure out team could hear them all the way in Dallas.
