fan points do you get them?

I only get points for 1 blog per day and for my starting 5 but not for anything else including all my other blog entries, ratings and comments (video, pics, blogs). I can see other people do get their points.  I keep getting the run around when I attempt to ask the site controller, they don't explain why I don't get the points the site says you should get.  Am I doing something wrong and I should not expect these points? Thanks for your time in reading this and all responses.    Now I get credit for this complaint blog. I don't know why?
