Finding the right gel

By mbmurr1 Posted in: Blazers
It may take a few games to find the right mesh of guys on the court but even without making any baskets I saw a lot of promise in what we have here in Portland, A great bunch of guys with heart going after it no matter the score. The referees need to call some fouls when L.A. goes to the hole and everyone else needs to make some shots, But the effort is there and winning is within the grasp of this team right now. I do feel we need to make some trades in the off season for a solid true Point guard and a young athletic Center. That being said who do we trade? I think the proper question is who do we keep? Lamarcus, Wallace, Matthews, Oden, and Johnson. I say trade the rest of the team in an attempt to land D. Howard and CP3, D. Williams or J. Wall. This is not an outrageous thought considering who we are thinking of trading (B. Roy, N. Batum, R. Fernandez, P. Mills, M. Camby, L. Babbitt and A. Miller), the value of which is considerable and we still have several draft picks which may also be used in trades or as actual picks if the right player is available. There are a lot of serviceable players on other teams which may be gotten relatively cheap such as Augustine, Ford, Thabeet, M Gasol, J.J. Hickson, Hibbert, G. Monroe, J. Mcgee, and H. Whiteside to name a few. Get 1 or 2 of these players then go after a star like CP3 or D. Williams to run the offense. What do you think? Don't be a hater because you like a player we have, it is a business after all and winning is the bottom line. Look to the future of the franchise and what is best for a championship.      GO BLAZERS  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
