Familiar Faces At Practice

By ShalamarClark Posted in: AndreMiller, ArmonJohnson, Blazers, BrandonRoy, Lakers, MarcusCamby, PattyMills

The Portland Trail Blazers got back to business at practice this morning to tune up before hosting the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. Tippoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM.

The Trail Blazers are the hottest team in the NBA right now, claiming the league's longest winning streak with six games, and are close to having Brandon Roy and Marcus Camby back.

Portland's Head Coach Nate McMillan said that a game-time decision will be made in regards to Roy's possible return against the Lakers.

As for Camby, he said his return back to action on Wednesday is doubtful. He also spoke about trade rumors and retirement.

Trail Blazer point guards–Andre Miller, Patrick Mills and Armon Johnson–looked sharp in shooting drills. Johnson rejoined the team after being recalled from the D-league's Idaho Stampede today, where he averaged 18.2 points 4.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 27.6 minutes.

  6. @Jamie (guy) I don't think he meant it in a bad way, but I was feeling a little hurt too. But when he said he loves it here and chooses to be here, made up for it. Good luck tonight Trailblazers!
