I just went to my second game this season with my fellow blazer chat freind ...the exciting thing was were going to meet up with another blazer chat freind and meet for first time and do group photo shot.  which was so much fun...

As female fans it is great to be recognized as knowledgeable and knowing a lot about the game.  Thank you casey and Mike Rice for mentioning that...that meant a lot to me.  Being recognized as a lady blazer fan or lady basketball fan we were not always considered knowledgeable and having a love of this sport. men treated as back in the day like you dont know what your talking about and that why are you following our sport.  I love to see that has changed a lot.  It has been great to hook up with other lady blazers who know so much more then me on some things.  If I want stats I know who I can ask, if I want to know something else I know someone else will know this.  It is so great to know we all have our knowledge of what we know of the game. I am not a stat person or follow that thing.  What I do bring to the table is how the game is played and what I have seen in great plays and the development of the players.  I may not know x and o's but I can tel you what a zone is, what a man to man is, what  iso play is, how you need to exeute things as I have been around that part of the game because of a family member who played.

Tonight before the game me and occasia met up for thai food(I have never had thai and she helped me pick some good food...the sea food was great) and we were able to sit down and talk about the game.  She wants to know more about the game and hopefully I can help her on that front but time does not allow always to explain the game.  Trust me I dont know it all but I know enough.  I enjoyed our conversation and her knowledge of what she is working on.  We enjoyed that.  

Then to get to the rose garden and experience the game.  I have to tell you i forgot how high the 300 level is. I have always had a fear of heights and it is better then it was but still I was like whoa.  I had one thing has made  it worse I have had nerve damage to ears from bells palsey and it has effected me.  But I did not let that stop me from enjoying.  I had a great time with the binoculars I swear you can see things very clearly with those binoculars following the game. I am so amazed at what these gifted young men can do night in and night out.  I had fun taking pics of certain things and reporting back on twitter as I promised to do that. sorry second half was close and I forgot you all.

The best part was meeting up with megan another lady blazer from blazer chat and us wearing our three goggles.  Yes megan and I both are avid rudy fans I have been his fan since day one when I found out he was coming here I was like cool. I had seen him play for spain in olympics and I was excited to get a Euro player over here.  I love what the International players bring to our game.  Anyhow we posed for pics were silly.  megan and I have a lot in common we both love rudy, we love to plan our clothes etc and coord what we are going to wear.  next game soon will be 3 goggle t shirts.  and meeting her best freind was great.

I had fun with these young ladies behind us the things were talking about during game was priceless.  they loved the same players as we did.  they were so much fun  and it is great to see a group of female fans getting into this game and loving it as much as I did when I was younger. I love it.  I love the changes that sports has happened to women.  The young women have no idea what it was like back in the day.  They should be proud and happy that women like me and others paved the way for them...I love to see fellow lady blazer fans who love this team and the players it was funny one of the gals said she wanted to marry the vanilla gorilla and that is when i turned around and introduced myself. it took me back to when i was there age and dreamed of marrying one of my fave nba players such as magic johnon or michael jordan or clyde drexler etc.  it took me back...i had fun listening to them.  It was fun to interact with them.

I had enjoyed seeing the team knowing how tired they are putting out an effort at the end of the game when they could have lost it. I really believe the crowd helps them when we got into the game they played harder.  I kept thinking come on guys your mini vacay is soon and you can rest those tired bodies.  I appreciate what they have done and how tired they are. I am an athlete and I get the pain and fatigue but not on the level they perform night in and night out.  

I am so proud to be a lady blazer and support this great team. where else can you go and meet people from all walks of life and that is an nba game.  I just want to say that I hope the second half of season goes even better with the return of brandon and marcus.  I cant wait to go next week with my fellow lady blazer chat freind and cheer on the blazers to beat la.  been a dream forever to go to a lakers fan. so ty occassia ...your the best   megan your great too and we have had fun on twitter.
