The Battle Inside My Head

Now that we know that LaMarcus will not be playing in the all-star game, I have a battle in my head of being reasonable or irrational. Let me give you an idea of the conversation between Okay(the reasonable one) and Grrr(the irrational one) :

OKAY: He could use the rest. He's been playing a lot of minutes lately, especially with a depleted roster.

GRRR: Once again, another Blazer guy gets screwed over by the NBA.

OKAY: It took him awhile to put up all-star numbers. The other guys were more consistent.

GRRR: LA dominated the other guys on the squad. SCOREBOARD!

OKAY: He can focus on helping his team make a second half push for the play-offs.

GRRR: He can play with a chip on his shoulder and prove to the NBA that they made a terrible choice in not selecting him.

OKAY: Hey now. He still has a chance of being selected by David Stern as Yao Ming's replacement.

GRRR: Guess what? He still has another chance of being robbed personally by David "I hate the Blazers" Stern.

I could go on more, but my brain is so worn out, I'm at a loss for words.
