womens jerseys and gear for female nba fans

By oregongal47 view (TG)
I was watching an nfl commerical tonight on tv about women having their own jerseys that the female figure. I am thankful the nfl is recognizing there are a lot of female fans out there who want their own gear to wear. A woman has a totally different body than a man and the clothing we have to wear does not fit our bodies very well. I was like hmmm why can't the nba do the same thing for us?  I know we have brandon roys jersey but that is it. So I was forced to get a youth jersey which fits better but still does not fit a womans body very well. I want to look good and show off my female features tastefully and not look like I am wearing a sack.  sorry but that is how they fit on us women?  any other women out there agree with me.  With all the money the nba makes dont tell me there is not thought of that women would plunk their money down for jerseys that fit us and are attractive.  maybe have some women panelists put in their input on what we really want not some man trying to figure it out.  I also want more things in the fan shop. I want more rudy gear I want the bracelet that is out there but I have to go online to find it.  otherwise I love the blazer fan shop.  I want to thank alistair for being most helpful in helping me get my latest jersey and helping me get something that fits...youth is as close us women will get on something that fits us.  just saying this as I am sure other women have thought of this but have not voiced it.  please bring us more jerseys and I will defintely buy one if they work.

  1. agreed; i wear like a boys medium in jerseys and they fit like ... well, like a boys medium! i know the actress, Alyssa Milano started a line of nfl merchandise for women, and i think that's great. they need to be better marketed and more available. she also does a lot of the modeling for it. here's a link to the nba section of her website: http://www.fandalia.com/NBA-Shop_-158190136_PG.html

  2. Welcome to the Bloggers Network!

I'm with you on getting a few more jerseys for women. BUT I have to say that I love a lot of the women's Blazers merch available. I wear nice long sleeve tees a lot more than any of my jerseys (which are youth sizes like yours.) Wearing my gear in the RG just isn't enough. I rock it everywhere!

  4. TG you know I agree about the jerseys. You can never have too much Blazer gear. I'm wondering if HSN will get something, they have a big selection of NFL stuff including women's jersey-like tops.

  7. I don't have the arms for the jerseys, myself. ;-) And I want to wear player-specific stuff, so I'm stuck trying to figure out how to make my #8 Patty Mills flood relief T-shirt look girly. Next time a 3XL modified with gussets and lace?

  8. there you go occassia...i think we need things that are neccessarily girly unless someone want it go for it but things that fit our figures. the arms are still huge for me. you rock that t shirt occassia! the nba needs to recognize us female fans we are huge! just think of the money that could sterns and owners pockets if females really shopped even more he he ty blazer#1fan i appreciate your feedback...as i said let us design the stuff not men!
