Anecdotal Evidence

By prezofdeath Posted in: LaMarcusAldridge
Sometimes, we tend to see things in the here and now. You're sitting at Starbucks waiting for your spouse/fiancé/friend/cousin/parent/whoever and once again, they're late. You mutter aloud, "They're ALWAYS late!"

In reality, that's not always the case. Sometimes, they're on time. Sometimes you're the one who's late. Sometimes, you both might be late. You look at the full body of evidence to understand trends and patters.

For tonight's loss in Game 1 vs. Houston, you can't assume LMA is a bad player. He's a very good player. Heck, I didn't even watch the game, but I know that no matter what he did, you look at his career and you know he's a good player. Unless he broke a leg, he's still the same LaMarcus. One game means nothing when you add it to the thousands of games he's played. You've heard KP, Tom, and Mike Born talk about "building a book." Tonight was just one paragraph of one page in this year's book.
