mid-season expecations

we're nearly to the halfway point in the season and it'e been both interesting, intriguing and even frustrating. where are we? how are we doing? which players have surprised us? which players have played above what we expected? which players have played under our expectations. how has the coaching been?

over the weekend, and after the 41st game, i'm going to do my own analysis of the team at the season's mid-way point. i'll try and touch on the aforementioned questions, but if there's anything anyone would like me to look up, please comment and let me know in the comment section of this blog. i'm open to nearly any question, though if there are enough, it might turn into a two-part blog spread over two days. go for it.
