OH YES WES!
By blazersisthebest
Since the absence of Brandon Roy, Wesley Matthews has stepped-up his game into a higher level. He has been spectacular this past few games. He played like a player fighting for a contract.
The absence of Brandon Roy is becoming an epic story for the Portland Trailblazers, he's knees are both sore. His injury is a different one, the cartilage on His knees are getting thinner, so its a bone to bone situation.
The injury has made it difficult for the Trailblazer to find another source of production on the guard spot since, B-Roy is their leading scorer.
Well, Wesley has answered the all these questions. For the past few games he has taken center stage together with Portland's star, LaMarcus Aldridge. They are now carrying the team, providing offense and stepping-up for the absence of Roy.
Wesley, has produced 36 points from their last outing against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He carried the team from the start to finish. He, together with LaMarcus has produced a combined total of 64 points.
That's a big production from players that are not all-stars. well
in-fact, Wesley is just in his 2 year! He might have a big future here.
LA can't make the team a playoff team if its just Him, He needs help. Yes, he is playing great basketball since the injury of B-Roy. He has been producing a lot for the team, a double-double guy. But still, he need some help from the guards. And he's getting it from Wesley.
I see a player that if he would just work hard and dedicate himself to the game, in just 2 or 3 years he'll be an all-star. He'll be something in this league.
Just keep up that work, together with LaMarcus, and Portland would still be a playoff team.
GO BLAZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
