From Patty Cakes to Patty Trendsetter

By blazerdarren77 Posted in: PattyMills
For those of you who watch, you no doubt saw a featuring Patty Mills. Sadly, it only lasted two episodes. The reason? In his second episode he had his 'special guest' overshadow him. This resulted in the highest rated and most watched episode on Mills was so devastated at the results, he resorted to a ,plan B career move; basketball. And boy has it paid off; a key player coming off the bench, increased playing minutes, meeting wonderful colleagues from other lands, and a fan favorite.

His biggest achievement so far is developing a trend longtime Blazer fans haven't seen since the inception of Rip City. I'm talking of course of three goggles. It has taken off like a trendy reality show. Fans are showing up in droves, bringing in 3 goggles signs, homemade glasses and what not. A rare handful of t-shirts were made and fans bought them so fast, P.I.R mandated a speed limit on the track. Yes, three goggles is here, so embrace it.

So TV didn't work out for Mills (his charisma and charm does not work in that industry) sometimes you have to make your success in a field that you may not enjoy at all. But if you apply yourself, you can still leave a mark. You just never know how things will work out. Just ask Patty Mills.
