finding our energy and enthusiasm

By Kassandra
i was going to wait a couple of days, but i've got just one day left and one final left until winter break starts. i'll spend a couple of days with my brother and his fiance, then it's home to milwaukie for the holidays.

it's been a tough stretch for the blazers over these past couple weeks, but with wins over clippers and suns -- especially the latter -- we may have found what it takes to win.

i said during the six-game losing streak that we were lacking energy in the fourth quarter, and second half in general, of these games. i think we found that in Patty Mills. he's both energetic and enthusiastic, and those things are very addicting. they're what you need when trying to develop a never-day-die attitude.

hopefully, our enthusiasm can keep us on track.

  1. Well said, Kass. Patty's influence has lifted the team, especially Rudy. He's been rejuvenated since Sergio's departure. Plus it has helped Nic get his mojo back as well. Just wish the Blazers could play the Suns every game the rest of the year>

  2. Good post Kassandra! Yes, the PHX win was nice and hopefully we can take that positive result and keep the energy up in the 4th vs. ORL.

Have fun with your bro and then a safe trip home.

    I'm back next week!

    Peace and love,

  4. Patti's enthusiasm, speed and willingness to share the ball gets everybody to cut and move on offense. Let's hope that the scouts don't find a way to quench his fire.
