All I want for Christmas is a good 4th Quarter.

This has got to be a joke, right. The Blazers want to get a good draft pick at the end of the year? Maybe the Blazers want to lay low until we have time to get a reliable big man, yeah that's it! We will suck it up for the time being and when we get Joel back, we will come running, gaming like we know how to play ball in the 4th quarter of a basketball game. I think I heard Mike Rice say, during another 4th quarter loss, there wasn't a blazer who has shot above 20% in the 4th quarter, the last three games. Come on, we had another decent lead halfway through the 3rd and we lost it again. How can L.A. have such an explosive first half (18 pts, 8 rbs) and not do anything the whole second half! Roy I can understand, he is probably feeling the long minutes. Batum has another disappointing outing, and D.C. was nowhere to be found. When is the 4th quarter wow's going to stop guys, who is going to step up. On a good note, Matthews had another productive game! How about some input!

Ok here we go, three more good things. 1) Brandon seems to be doing ok right now, I am really happy he is in the lineup. 2) Joel will hopefully be back this Friday. 3) and the most important, we have a great team that all of Portland can be proud of on and off the court. I guess that is why this little slump bothers me. We have an unstoppable team at times and they are all a bunch of great guys. They will get it figured out, hopefully sooner than later! Go Blazers!!!

  3. I agree we have a great team on and off the court but what is up with the 4th quarter meltdowns? It's not like we are doing it against the lakers, the heat or the celtics (yet....)

    Let's hope Santa brings the guys some confidence and their shot back for a whole game!! Go blazers!!
