I know championship is a possibility but I don't see it happening without a better backup pg or a better starting pg. I say if we got second-tier player like tony parker we could make him starter and move andre to backup, then make bayless backup sg which is his natural position. Unless Rudy gets it together we need a better backup. Every other position is at championship caliber and with oden healthy we can only get better. A better backcourt would set us apart.

Here's how i see the west shaping out:

1: LA Lakers (60-22)
2: Portland Trail Blazers (58-24)
3: Denver Nuggets (55-27)
4: Dallas Mavericks (54-28)
5: Oklahoma City Thunder (54-28, With Dallas winning the tie-breaker)
6: Utah Jazz (53-29)
7: San Antonio Spurs (49-33)
8: Houston Rockets (48-34)

I just don't see Pheonix getting in without Amare. Give me your opinion!

  1. I like Houston a little higher and Denver a little lower. I could definitely see us getting 2nd but it all depends on health!

  2. Are you nuts? Tony Parker starting over Andre is nuts. If we can't do better than a past his prime pg (Parker) . like say C Paul and it doesn't look like that's gonna happen, so give me Andre Miller over Parker anyday. I was unhappy to see Blake go but Miller is tough and just the kind of guard that"ll feed a healthy Greg Oden and our star B>Roy.

  3. Well i don't know Rob, it would all just depend on who performs better, could be miller or parker or another second-tier pg if we were to get one.
