if we had the number 1 pick though I don't think i'd pass on nerlans noel dude is a killer natural shot blocker anyone that can record 12 blocks in a single game @ any level would be hard to pass up

although I do think that eraser head haircut is a little rediculous and outdated but none the less kid could either be huge or a complete bust and at this point if we had that number 1 pick I wouldn't pass on him then I'd go out and get someone like dalembert who's cheap and can start and mentor both leonard and noel

Blaser, Fab Melo had 14 blocks in the D-League, you want him? Noel has good instincts, but he is waaay to weak to go up against NBA bigs. Like I said before, Deron Williams weighs more than him. He as already had a knee injury, and we know how that goes. His main selling point is his athleticism and ability to run the floor. If he gets injured again, that's gone, it may even be gone now. If he puts on muscle to bulk up, it's not gone, but greatly reduced. He was so dominant in college because there simply weren't many people as big as him. He might be a solid starter one day, but not much else.

I would trade the pick for Larry Sanders or Asik. Probably Asik.

You're right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.

oh yea true that would work but then they'd probably totally pass on mclemore or I guess they could use the pick to trade down or take a chance on noel if the d12 thing didn't work out

if we get no.1 pick, i would trade that pick for omer asik and that all. the rockets would probably use that pick for a trade with the lakers since lakers need to get younger

I think you might be able to deal the #1 for a pretty good offer.

But I would trade it for Sanders before I trade it for Asik. I like both but Sanders would be a better fit imo.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.

Sanders was the better defender last year unlike Ibaka he deters shots and closes out on shooters. Asik is the more experienced defender by Sanders is much better. Just check out the MIT defense report.

Okay, I'll admit it, I like Asik better. I definitely think they will both have very good careers. And finally, someone who agrees, that Ibaka is a shot blocker, not really a great defender.

Ibaka though is a much better defender now than he was two years ago.

Ibaka is a much better everything since he was two years ago. He even has the sweetest nicknames since The Big Shamrock, Shaq Fu. I mean Serge Protector, Iblocka and Air Congo. Dope.

Definately try to unload the 3 2nd rounders for Jamaal Franklin. If Cody Zeller isn't there at #10; commence 'Operation Re-Sign J.J.'

Yeah, and why are people comparing him to LMA? A lot of mock drafts have us taking Kelly Olynyk, saying with his offensive skill set, he and LMA would be a great 1-2 punch. Does no one factor in defence?

What do you guys think about Lillard saying how much he loves Mccollum??? If we got Mccollum I dont think we would keep Maynor...  McCollum cant guard other PG in the NBA, also not the best passer. I wouldnt be upset if we drafted him but It would be interesting how our guard rotation plays. Would love having another ball handler though

Shabazz/MCcolum and Dieng/Adams would be a great draft. Make It Happen Neil lol

Right now, Lillard is our only ball handler apart from Maynor. We definitely need one more.

I think the reason Lillard says he likes McCollum is because their games are so similar. How can you not like CJ McCollums game. For real Im on the trade LA for the Wizards #3 pick bandwagon, then draft Noel, or trade it, or maybe get DeAndre Jordan. The possibilities are endless.

We could possibly take McCollum with the 10th pick and trade him to the kings for Marcus Thornton. I would personally prefer if we kept McCollum because he can give us scoring off the bench and he will bring that maturity of having been in college for 4 years.

Want to talk about trade LA possibilities then maybe it is time to reexamine the Cavs as an option for LA. Can get pick #1 and some pieces or work out a three way trade with the Bucks and Cavs. If we could end up with Thompson, Gee and Sanders for LA and Batum with future picks that would be a nice return.

You guys know how I feel about that. Thompson would be great, but not for LMA. Your deal is actually pretty solid and has a decent chance of happening compared to others, but Olshey has said LMA ain't going anywhere.

That was before he had a chance to get Sanders or Nelrens Noel. Plus he is a GM hard to believe anything that comes out of his mouth.

well mccollum looks cool but lillard was a rarity when it comes to small school ballers being successful I don't see 2 small school ballers 2 drafts in a row especially one comeing from a weak draft being anything spectacular

I realize a lot of people are down on Batum but I think that his inconsistency has to do with the system. No one ever points out Aldridge's lack of assist totals. The home game against the Nuggets when LA sat out, Batum was our leading scorer, and JJ had 18 and 18. If we need depth you have to first look within.
