It mentions Portland cant finish higher than 6.....Portland owns the tie breaker against Denver.  If Portland wins its last two games and Denver loses their last two that would result in a tie and Portland would be 5 seed and play Oklahoma City.... Not likely but still possible. Am i right???

With New Orleans playing Memphis tonight, I think we have to pull for the Grizzlies. If Memphis loses we probably won't get 8th, which is okay as long as we don't get 7th. But with NO owning the tiebreak over us, it'd be tough to jump them in the last two games. We don't want LA, despite the big game the other night. Just my opinion of course.

Okay, Thunder beating Lakers was REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD.  We can still play the Lakers.

If the Lakers go 1-1, the Mavs go 2-0, and OKC goes 2-0, we'll be playing the Lakers if we get 6th seed.

If Lakers go 2-0, OKC goes 2-0, and Mavs go 1-1, or 0-2, we're playing OKC in 6th seed.

If Lakers go 0-2, Dallas goes 1-1, OKC goes 2-0, we play Dallas in 6th seed.

If Lakers go 0-2, Dallas goes 0-2, and OKC goes 2-0, we're playing the Lakers in 6th seed.

If Lakers go 2-0, Dallas goes 2-0, and OKC goes 2-0, we're playing the Mavs in 6th seed.

If OKC doesn't go 2-0, we're not playing them in 6th seed, but they play @Kings and vsBucks.  Doubt they'd drop a game.

If Denver goes 0-2, and Portland goes 2-0, we're 5th seed, and playing 4th seed.

The best case scenario for the Blazers is to win on Tuesday.  If the Lakers win on Tuesday, that's a good thing for us, but they play the Spurs, who is the best team, while the Lakers are playing like the worse team.  It is in Staples.  If the Lakers lose, and the Mavs win on Monday, ugh... this is so confusing...

Best bet is to just win out, but that could place us against the Lakers if they go 1-1.  They play SAS, and go against the Kings, so it's VERY possible the Lakers will play the Blazers in the 1st round.

Monday April 11th, 2011 Games To Watch -

    New Orleans vs. Utah
    Root For: The Jazz
We have the one game lead over New Orleans for 6th, but we still have to win out. A Jazz win here would give us some cushion heading into the Memphis contest.

    Dallas @ Houston
    Root For: The Mavericks
Although Dallas is tied for LA in the loss column for #2, we still need them to continue to win because the Thunder are hot on their tails for #3.

      OklahomaCity @ Sacramento
    Root For: The Kings
We want OKC in the 4th seed. Hopefully the Kings can continue to play spoiler tonight!

Called this.  NO just dropped their game to the Jazz, so a Blazer victory tomorrow night in the RG assures them the 6th seed.  Biggest game of the year, without a doubt.  Latest reports have the CambyMan in the line-up.  I'll be there!!!  GO BLAZERS!!

With DEN winning tonight, and NO losing, just like BDawg said, a win tomorrow guarantees us the 6th seed. Now with that being said, there are still three possible first round opponents.  Gonna be a great last couple days to end the season. If the Lakers win tomorrow vs. SAS and wed. at SAC, we will play DAL in the first round even if OKC and DAL both win their final games. The scenarios are pretty confusing, but looking forward to Wednesday when we know who we play and when!

Dallas moved ahead of the Lakers tonight with their overtime win against Houston and now sit alone in the 2 spot, 1/2 game up on LA.  Dallas has one game left, a home game with the Hornets Wednesday night.  The Lakers have two left, first hosting the Spurs Tuesday night, then playing SAC in their gym the following night (Wed).  The Lakers fortunately hold the tie break with Dallas.  It would seem that these two teams now have as much to do with who Portland will face as do the Blazers themselves.

Never been much of a Laker fan before now.  Pulling for Monte Wednesday night as well.

Personally I want the lakers now they are beat up and their moral is low, even if they win the next 2 games they know the Spurs are going to cruise and give their bench some minutes against them and well there is the Kings. Nothing would thrill me more than having a Fill Jaxson last season be a toss out in the first round.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio
    Root For: The Lakers
We need L.A. to win so they can reclaim the #2 seed. Also, a Blazers win tonight guarantees them the 6th seed.

    Dallas vs. New Orleans
    Root For: The Mavericks
A Dallas win combined with a L.A. win puts Dallas in the #3 seed.

    Oklahoma City vs. Milwaukee
    Root For: The Bucks
An OKC win keeps them alive for the #3 seed. If they lose, they will be assured #4.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Sacramento Kings
    Root For: The Lakers
A Lakers win locks up the #2 seed, meaning we would not play them in the First Round.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

Ridnour doesn''t have a lot of offensive game, but he''s irritating as hell as an opponent and that''s what you want. He can run plays and stuff so he would be nice.

Thanks Siccolo, not to knock on Bosh. I think if he was the number one option he would go back to being a beast. I miss making jokes about him playing for the RAPTORS. He is a great player.
