I just wanted to post and see if anyone thinks they know what will put us over the top. The most popular answer is wait for everyone to come back from injury's. I personally think that would be great but still not good enough. There are to many super teams forming every year. As it stands the Cavaliers would be hard to beat and the Lakers in 7 games series. The Magic would give us a run and even the Spurs. There are just to many teams that are as good and better than us for us to sit here and say we are good. There also the prospect of several teams to make major up grades. Any team that gets Amare or Bosh can become a power house by weakening a average team. So what ever you got trades line ups and even just working on things as a team.

oh yeah please avoid using the phrase mortgaging our future. No one is saying sell out to try and win this year. Not every Blazer player is gonna be here at the start of next year so prepare for that.

We need a consolidation trade that brings back a true #2 option for Roy. Aldridge is more of a 3rd fiddle and the team has proven already they can't play without define roles and being 14 deep will do that. Nate needs to stick to a 9 man rotation, because if we play too many guys, they will never get into a rhythm.
    That's my two cents.

There's still a buncha season left. What if the allmighty Lakers have a rash of injuries? How do you think they'd fair if Kobe and Pau, and the Gillette bald head of Odom were out for an extended period?

With so many key players missing time, these Blazers that would've hardly played at all, are now the local heroes. I wouldn't want it any other way. Rip City!!

My personal deal that I have been a fan of lately is LA, Rudy, cap fillers for Bosh. Aldridge has been playing beastly lately, but we can't afford to wait on him to make his push halfway through the season.

What do you guys think? Its trims the rotation down and gives Roy a legit superstar to play along side him.

With the trade deadline only 12 days away, I'm surprised there hasn't been a deal made yet or even any chatter..all it takes is that first domino to fall and the trades should (hopefully) start snowballing.
As for Bosh..I'd love to get him, but I don't see Toronto trading him.

I think that K.P. should make some trade because: 1. a lot of injuries of good players, 2. irregular play of the team. Maybe when we get good player it will be like spark to play better. Who we schould give back ?  Blake is first on my list ! I wonder what happened !

Thank you, Knorton. Now more rebuilding or anything. No rookie nonsense. Get a solid Defensive big. Trade every single pick to get it.

I don''t trust big men with a history of injury. Ibaka also weighs more than Noel, but you''re right, early days yet, he could bulk up. I am sure, that he will lose some of his speed and athleticism when he does though. Wasn''t that one of his bes...

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
