The LA horse has been beat up enough. Teams don't want to trade there stars for LA (Lopez, griffen, love, Davis) and not many trade ideas make sense for blazers.  La is truely an amazing player at his position but the more I think of it lt, I think the best option moving foward may be from Denver. Denver lost depth and a key center and sf position; getting depth  back is not as simple; so maybe Denver will Persue LA at some point. The pieces they have to work with are McGee and Faried.  A move such as this may make us the deepest team in the league- a starting lineup of lillard Matthews batum farried McGee is a dynamic fast paced starting lineup similar to how Denver was constructed last season besides the key difference of lillard ( a go to player down the stretch.) a bench of cj, Watson, wright, Lopez and leanard is a bigger slower lineup that plays more inside out. I like. The sound if that.    Though not as deep additions of Jj and foyd help Denver with the Aldridge decision. Ty foyd  and when healthy gallo lA and masgov is an ok place for them to build from- and Jj Nate miller w-chandler and a randalf rounds out an ok depth I think they'd be sitting happy happy

    Two things...

    1. Denver is a quarter horse, they run fast but they dont run long. Evident by their exit from the playoffs in the first round. Phoenix epitomised fastball back in the day and it got them all traded.More often than not teams that run run run, get done done done. Yes, i agree, move the rock on offense but that doesnt always mean break neck speed with no rhyme or reason. The reason it looked good in Phoenix is because they had knock down three point shooters. Denver doesnt. As the saying goes, defense wins championships.

    2. Faried still has rocks in his jaw about us picking Nolan ahead of him. Personally, i think we lucked up and got us a Faried of our own in Thomas Robinson. And let me add this, i have never been a fan of trading within the division. I threw up a little in my mouth when i saw Brandon Roy wearing that blasphemous Minnesota jersey. If we must trade L.A., make it to an east coast team so we only see him once a year.

I am a fan of our new roster playing with and for eachother.

@ BLASER, actually, I don't think Faried has any upside; I think what u c is all that you'll get & they will move Faried when his value is highest (aka this coming season; he'll probably b packaged up w/ a teammate w/ a more expensive contract; Nugs will get a more talented player back bc the other team is "thinking" that Faried has upside ;) b4 they have to pay the guy.  We all wondered, "why on Earth would Den. sign JJ?"  Wonder no more ;)

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
