How far can they go? With a brand new roster being worked on, can the trailblazers make the playoffs? Getting great additions, but losing the starting center for the trailblazers, what is your opinion? Can they do better?

I think they will make the playoffs as the 6th-8th seed and I think the later part of the season will show them playing better.  They will still probably lose the first round but will show well against the top seeded team.

I think we will play at least the 1st round of the Playoffs, more then that will depend on the development of the youngers players of the team (half the team)

I can see us having a solid season without major injuries...

Lillard, Mathews, Batum, Aldridge and Lopez, give us a strong and balanced starting 5

Then i expect our bench rotation to be something like: Mcollum, Wright, Robinson and Leonard. + Watson, Barton, Crabbe, Claver and Freeland trying to enter the rotation.

So the way i see it will be essential for us that our rookies and 2nd year players take a step foward to help the team.

I personally think we can make the playoff's this year if we all can stay healthy avoiding any majors type's of  injuries . Knocking on wood while crossing fingers . GO BLAZERS !!!!!!!!!

I agree with all of the above. With the improved bench and Lillard going into his second year of his career, he can only get better and so can the blazers. I think a first round exit out of the playoffs would actually be a really good step into the right direction.

I am not sure OK, Spurs did anything much in the off season a lot of time left for OK, The Spurs time is against them. The Lakers are kinda self destructing which is a good sign 8-). Warriors made a lot of noise, reshuffled, Lets see what happens without David Lee, The Jazz have been quiet, The Nuggets I have not heard too much, Grizz have a tough team and the Timberwolves have made some moves. I almost forgot Houston they got 2 solid centers so let us see what they do.

I would say we have a pretty good shot at making the playoff's now if get the  7th or 8th seed I say we are out in the first round if we happen to get the 6th seed  or better I would say our chances are pretty good in going on to the second.

i think that if spurs does become no.1 seed in the west, we should be no.8 seed in the west because we totally killed them at their place last year, plus damian, batum, and aldridge all goes off together when they play against the spurs. if  spurs are not no.1 in the west, i would think that the warriors will be the best team in the west since they added more defense in igoudala, if they do, we need to look at no.8 seed in the west. imagine curry's 3 pointer against lillard 3's pointer. blazers vs. warrior match up could be one of the greatest match up ever. i just want to play against spurs and the warriors at least the first 2 round.

I think Golden State is the fourth seed. San Antonio,Memphis,OKC and Clippers will be better than GSW.And now, quite possibly Houston will give GSW the business. But in walks Lopez to guard Splitter,Gasol,Perkins,DeAndre Jordan and Andrew Bogut. We've got rooks, but our starting five is going to be a force. Robinson and Dorell just need to show up and we'll be formidable off the bench. And if we keep him, absolutely do not sleep on Terrel Harris. The kid that came with Lopez.

I think we can get a 6 or 7th seed this season. With the addition of Lopez as a rim protector and the additional ball handler in McCollum and Watson, we have two off the weapons we were missing last season. Our team is also MUCH MUCH deeper with T-Rob and Wright off the bench and if Batum can play healthy and be as good as he was before the all-star break last season then we could even be looking at a 5th seed and a matchup with GSW or Memphis.

OKC and San Antonio are still the 2top teams in the west and I think the Clippers will get the 3rd seed. From there it's wide open. I'm gonna go out on a limb and bet that Denver and the Lakers both miss the playoffs. Too much turmoil in those franchises. I like Brian Shaw, but Denver just won't be the same without Iggy and more importantly, George Karl. Same goes for Memphis. Lionel Hollins got more out of that team than anyone expected. I doubt they will get the 5th seed this year.

My money is on us making the playoffs and with a good push after the All star game we could get the 5th seed and beat whoever gets the 4th seed.

I'm going way out on a limb here and saying we could go to the western conference finals though I'd settle for 2nd round

our bench should be scary this year. with no more defnse problem, i see us go high as no.4 in the west, if our bench have some problem once in a while, we probably go as low as no.7 in the west. i think that lakers will tank for andrew wiggins and lebron james
