I had a couple questions for everyone.

    1. Did anyone ever go watch the Portland Fire when they were around? I went to one game and it was not a very comfortable feeling, felt totally out of place.

    2. Does anyone miss the WNBA in Portland? I hated my experience at the one game I went too and found virtually no interest in watching their games on tv.

    3. This one is a little more philosophical, if someone was born a man but elected for gender reassignment surgery would the WNBA allow said person to play in the league?

I would like to believe that the league would allow the person to play but the question gets more complicated the more you think about it. http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/psychiatry-expert-scientifically-there-is-no-such-thing-as-transgender/ That article suggests there is no such thing as a transgender person, which means the WNBA would have to willingly allow men to play, which could allow the WNBA to essentially turn into the NBA D-league. However if they denied him entry what kind of message would this send to the LBGT community, which is by an large a huge supporter of the WNBA.

    4. Lastly, how much longer do you give the WNBA? Before Griner I would have suggested about 3 years, but with her/him I have pushed that out to about 8.

The winner for best Adam's Apple goes to Brittney Griner, can she bring home the ROY as well.  MAN I hope so.

    1. Never went and probably would not go.

    2. I barely can stand men's college basketball and the WNBA is so much more boring that I would never like them to return.

    3. First trannies, then cross dressers, then actual men seems like the fear but if it makes the sport better why not.

    4. I would say the WNBA will last as long as the NBA keeps paying their bills.

The NBA has not failed to make a profit since it was announced that league makes money they WNBA has lost money every year so obviously the games themselves are not enough draw. That is why I suggested they use their sex appeal those that have it anyway to promote the league.

I can hardly sit through the wrestling now that I know it's fake, but all that drama and talking and stuff irritates me. I remember watching RvD and Kofi Kingston. They were my favourites. CM Punk was decent too, but I don't follow anymore. And I don't really watch much movies, more of a TV Show guy. Difference is we watch movies and tv to see stories. If we want to watch fighting, we could just watch boxing. Pacquiao man myself.

I agree with article in some aspects. Namely you can't become the opposite sex through surgery since the ability to bare children is a major part of being a woman and a man who becomes a woman cannot get pregnant. Vice versa for a woman who becomes a man. I also think a significant number of people who go through with sex changes are depressed, delusional or worse at times and surgery does not seem like a good way to treat serious medical issues.

Of course the traditional method of dealing with depression is not any good either which is drugging someone so it is a difficult situation. If it makes people happier then let them have the sex change if they want.

However, in my opinion a man becoming a woman should be prohibited from participating in advanced sports, such as college, WNBA, Olympics or other professional woman's league because it gives them an unfair genetic advantage.

Boxing? Seriously, not only is it boring but its also fixed quiet a bit, nobody watches that anymore the whole age old adadge of "its fake" is dumb a lot of guys come with that for macho reasons but nobody ever said it was real its entertainment no different from a tv show,tv shows aren't real either, hell a lot of things that happen in the nba isn't real you think the fix wasn't on in game 7 of the blasers-lakers series and you don't think the fix will be on in miami-indiana game 7 if indiana is at all close.no way david stern wants a indian-san antonio series same way he didn't want a indiana-portland series in 2000

Cmeese you have no idea what your talking about, please I'm serious, please stop talking about this its highly offensive, baring children or not does not make you any more or less a woman,I can't have kids,I had a problem with my ovaries from very little and that's all I'm gonna talk about it,please drop it cause your ignorance on the subject is downright sickening,I don't mind talking about the penis and balls and all that or beards and french people, but seriously leave your views about transexualism outve here, don't judge people untill you've walked in their shoes, it really sucks how judging people are of others.if you don't know anything about the subject or know anyone like that then your opinion is simply one of ignorance and judgement

He meant have the basic requirements like a womb. I think it's weird if a normal guy turns himself into a woman. I can understand if a transsexual does, maybe out of pressure or something I dunno.

And yeah we know TV shows aren't real. Who said anything about being macho? Wrestling is basically a different style of fighting. I like boxing because it is an entertaining sport and it takes a lot more skill than some other sports (MMA). I hate MMA. I just don't like all the drama and those annoying speeches and those women who attached themselves to men, and the amount of duos and all that. =

Chloe it is not so funny when someone makes assumptions about you or something you believe in is it.

Furthermore, I never judged anyone, I said I think a significant number of people who have sex changes are depressed, delusional or worse off. I do not know how many people it is and neither do you. I also said I do not believe that surgery is a good treatment for someone suffering from delusions or severe depression. That statement applies to a lot more cases than just gender reassignment. For example people with eating disorders who get lipo even when it is not needed and much more.

As far as what makes a woman ripcity got my intentions correct, men who become women do not possess the equipment to make children, namely ovaries, and a womb. There is a big difference between faulty equipment and never having the proper equipment to begin with.

However, the whole point of my argument was that specifically that men who become women should not be permitted to participate in woman's leagues because of the genetic advantages men possess. Just imagine someone like Lebron James having gender reassignment surgery then playing in the WNBA his strength size and speed would absolutely destroy everyone in that league. It is the same reason I am uncomfortable with Fallon Fox competing in the UFC women's division.

You have no idea what your talking about it completley ignorant and offensive. Worseoff, depressed, delusional,id give anything to have a one-on-one debate with you face to face. First off fallon fox has been on estrogen for 8 years and to sit there and say she has a unfair advantage is dumb,if steriods give atheletes a advantage what about the opposite, her body doesn't produce testosterone and her estrogen levels are actually higher then the average female. People like you who don't know a transgender person with the exception of what they see in the news should just keep your ignorant opions to yourself, judge people all you want, maybe it makes you feel better about the lack of control you have in your life.

If lebron james took hormones for 8 years had his testicles removed his body would change drastically his bodyfat would change from about 5% to about 23% his bodyfat would accumulate around his hips and he'd probably get breast implants, your narrowed minded view is sooo irritating cause every ts is different some start hormones in their 20's when their body hasn't really develeped as manly, someone like lebron who is a giant buff athelete would have a more difficult time then someone else its dumb to think everyone is the same

I agree 100% with Cmeese (God that sounded weird). If a man has a sex change operation, he should not be allowed to play in the NBA. I don't follow UFC or anything, but that Fallon Fox chick, or not, makes me look like a pre teen girl.

And so what if she has more fat? Look at Big Baby. He's fat as hell and probably has bigger breasts. Should we make him play in the WNBA as well? (No offence Glen Davis, I genuinely like your game and that you bodyslammed Shaq when you were a kid).

So no transgender person is depressed or delusional and none are contemplating suicide, which qualifies as worse off? That is just naive, I suggested a significant portion, but never put a number on it, is 10% of people having an unneeded surgery significant, what about 5% or even 3%.

Fallon Fox matured as a man before starting estrogen treatment meaning she has a high propensity to build and maintain muscle because she was a fully developed man that is a fact. Also it takes about 15 years for bone density to equal out between a man and a woman 8 years is not enough time which gives her a distinct advantage especially since estrogen is what produces bone density to begin with. Most other factors put her on par with an average woman but those two major advantages should be enough to debate her participation.

Not an expert at all but I do know how to read and their have been plenty of medical reports release on Fallon Fox to suggest she has a physical advantage. Not to mention the potential mental advantage she gains just from other women feeling at a disadvantage because they were never men.

Now my grandpa he fixed trannies for 20 years he was an expert, so if anyone needs a transmission issue looked at let me know.

But quite honestly I do not care if they WNBA had gorillas on the court something anything has to be done to make that game more enjoyable to watch.

You an expert at drinking beer cmeese but about transsexualism not even close.

Grandpa fixed trannies for 25 years but that was a bad joke.

At Chloe most men are fully mature by the age of 22 so to have someone start hormone therapy then and at Lebron's age is basically the same thing developmentally.

Also agreed about the WNBA being boring last fun thing I think remember seeing was all those fans making fun Diana Taurasi after her DUI.
