I know it's slow season for basketball news concerning the Blazers but after reading the Scott Foster thread I got to thinking why don't retired players become refs? Some guys I'd like to see as refs would be John Stockton, Rasheed Wallace, Grant Hill, Mark Price, Kenny Smith, Steve Smith, Cedric Ceballos, Glen Rice, Scottie Pippen, Clyde Drexler, Tim Hardaway, David Robinson, Brandon Roy.....any players you think would be great refs? Keeps the retired guys in the game, on the road and I think would be a huge upgrade to guys like Scott Foster and Joey (I hateTim Duncan) Crawford. I would give anything to see Sheed eject Kobe Bryant from a game.

Could add coaches to the list as well, would love to see Jeff Van Gundy breaking up a brawl hanging on Dwight Howards ankles like a bracelet

I remember that. That was the funniest thing I ever saw. I'm going to watch it again.

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

How I miss you. I want to take this time to appreciate the Blazers not appreciating the fans.

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
