Do you think these guys should make a comeback on our roster?

I still have faith in them, provided that they play the way they should be (Oden sans the injuries, Ha the way he plays in Asian basketball).

    Your thoughts.

oden in limited minutes wouldn't be bad he'd provide some defense off the bench

Yeah, I agree with you. And I do hope that I won't see him play for another team once he comes back to play in the NBA (which might turn out monsterous after recovery).

Between those 2 guys, we might se a total of 80 games played over the next 4 seasons. And that's being generous.

If Oden never got injured he would be a star. If he comes back he will be good, not nearly as good as he COULD have been but still will be a very good player.

I think he could be a solid back up and probably @ this point would settle for the vet minimum

And I will hate them for it. Still miss him. I think all Blazer fans do.

Greg Oden ? Good Lawwwd ! Is he ever going to go away. That dude has no idea what loyalty is. After we babysat and nursed this kid for years,he had the audacity to speak ill of our city. Negative Ghost Rider the pattern is full.

Will Greg ever be productive?  What is the status of his knees?  Why would we want to throw 5mil down the tube while a decent player goes begging.

This is what he had to say:

For starters, Portland isn't a great city to live in if you're a young, African American male with a lot of money," Greg explained with an embarrassed grin. "But that's especially true if you don't have anybody to guide you. Since I was hurt the entire season, I was on my own a bunch and didn't have veteran teammates around to help me adapt to the NBA lifestyle.

He even said that Portland was the reason he became an alcoholic.Thats about as true as my being Black because i was born at night.

Cleveland looked at his knees and the talk stopped, so did Miami. I think if he comes back it'll be similar to Roy coming back in Minnesota.

I was a huge fan first season but when he mixed alcohol and rehab I just shook my head. The body doesn't repair when you drink in excess.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
