this team has a great GM and around 12/13 million in cap space. acouple free agents smith, williams, palovic, babbit, jeffries, jj hickson(bird rights) and maynor(unrestricted) so that leaves our other players our core 3 are LA , Lillard, & batum then our rookies barton, freeland, lenoard, clavor and acouple 2 rounders and the 1st round pick still in question where its gonna be 1st (?)

so with that said Get rid of these guys ---> williams, palovic, smith, jeffries, Babbit

guys too keep ----> barton, clavor, lenoard , all of them are cheap and you dont have too spend really nothing too keep .

on the fence ---> hickson, freeland, maynor . i think we should use hickson and freeland in a trade too acquire some more depth on our bench and too resign maynor cuz i like him as a back up too lillard and if lillard got hurt he can run the team .

Center : we have acouple options mozgov(restricted), dalembert, (Deandre Jordan) could be on the block neil knows him well, JaVale McGee, Pekovic(gonna want 10 mill a year), Al Jefferson, Greg Stiemsma, Marcin Gortat .

i think the most realistic one we can land is Marcin Gortat but i think we could have a shot at Jordan.

as for SG i think matthews is a good defender and i like he can shot the ball i think Tony allen(great D), or Alan Anderson is a good pick up . but id go with alan anderson for a nice price he can score coming off the bench and he would have the green light with the 2nd unit.

back up small forward i like Chase Budinger he can shoot and if batum gets injuried he can come in a start we need another shooter so he'd be perfect.

back up power foward dajuan blair or Jeff Pendergraph would be a great back up hes played here before has size and D and i think hes fully healthy now and hes starting to show some promise and he wouldnt cost much .

back up point guard my first choice would be eric maynor but if we cant resign him patty mills would be a good choice too hes cheap has played here before and can score and nice vet.

2rounders- can use thoses to fill out the roster.

1st rounder i would use too a trade too land Gortat , we dont need another rookie on this team we need more proven vets.

with that said heres out 2013-2014 roster.

    Lillard/Manyor

    Matthews/Anderson/Barton

    Batum/Budinger/Clavor

    LA/Blair/Pendergraph?/FA

    Gortat/Lenoard/2rounder or FA

i think this team would be very dangerous we have a second unit that can score, depth and a good starting line up what do you think blazer nation ?

I think we should add Gerald Henderson and Budinger.

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

I would love to get Pendy back, he is that hype man that brings intensity..... He is also a really nice guy and appreciates all of his fans, had the pleasure of running into him at Lloyd Center at a midnight release for MW3, he expressed how much he wanted to stay in Portland at the time..... Call me biased but he is a blue collar guy that every team can use

I am a fan of competing til the final buzzer!!!!!!!!!!

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
