Looking at the last four games, it is becoming more and more evident that the Starters are beginning to hit the wall with the excess minutes they are playing because of our lack of depth on the bench.  Teams are figuring out how to play Lillard, which Batum is going to show up the one wants to be a play maker and get assists, or the one who wants to score, how much can LA’s body take carrying the team?  These are all questions that need to be addressed.

The question is do we continue to have our starter’s play the high minutes and risk injury and leave us at risk for the Team’s future or do we sacrifice making the playoffs and reducing their minutes to avoid injury and continue the rebuilding process.  Personally, I am at a quandary, I would love to see the Blazers prove the skeptics wrong about this team and make the playoffs (reality is we will be booted out in the first round), however on the other hand I want to protect our assets and not risk injury.

My opinion, we are at the half way point in the season, we have another 43 games left in the regular season which includes a back to back at the end of this month with the Clippers, a brutal 3 games in four nights road trip in February, and two long road trips in March, and if we make the playoffs the wear and tear continues.  I think the last four games are a symptom of what is to come with the excess minutes.

    Your thoughts?

I am a fan of JJ the Double Double Beast.

Rumors have shown that the Rockets are very interested in Dwight Howard and that the interest is mutual.

    I''d trade for Asik.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.
