    JJ Hickson, Damian Lillard

These guys are playing incredible ball and should be on the All-Star ballot. Eric Gordon hasn't played a game for 3 years and he's on the All-Star ballot. Omri Casspi is on the All-Star ballot, but Coach Byron Scott can't even put him in much because he's stinkin' up the place. There are some anomalies on the ballot that should've been fixed before it was sent to fans for voting.

"Oh, well you can write in a vote."
How we supposed to write 2 of our best players in? We can't... can we? Lillard and Hickson automatically get half the votes they should from Blazer fans, because we're only allowed 1 write in vote. I think that's completely unacceptable, and I hope the NBA feels embarrased. 2 write in votes would be an easy fix for this problem.

You forgot LA.  I won't be surprised at all if he gets snubbed.  Wouldn't be the first time.

But yeah, to your point, that is a really lame.

Coaches will put some of these guys on the 2nd team. It's a sham, the way it's setup. Damian, JJ and LaMarcus have outplayed a lot of guys on the top of the list and the fact that some of them haven't even played a game is ridiculous. They need better guidelines for the voting system. The Ballot is rigged the way it is.

I don't think fans should have any say at all.  I know why they do it, but I have never liked it.  Ask yourself what "All-Star" means.  Was you answer, "Mr. Popular?"  I didn't think so.  Guys like Lin, and McGrady have and had no business being discussed for an All-Star spot.  It's sad that fans have a vote, and the only reason they do is to push more advertizing and product on them.  I would have coaches and assistants, and a sports writer or 2 from each team's market vote.  Make it a legit, best-of-the-best show case.

I also think it's pretty lame when what happened last year, with OKC's coach playing his guys a ton of minutes.  Pretty selfish Scottie.

Might be a good thing to use retired coaches. LaMarcus really got snubbed for time last year. He played a couple of minutes. Get Larry Brown and Jerry Sloan to coach the games. Somebody out of the competition. Split the minutes by timer. Play 5 in 5 out maybe? Split the quarters up. Would be more entertaining I think as they don't play much defense anyway. Maybe use the two best D league coaches or WNBA coaches. Coaches competing for the playoffs this season shouldn't coach the allstar game. Who knows? It's a sideshow. Just for example, if your coaching the eastern allstar game and you're coaching 4 of the best players in your division you could just play them into the ground and rest your guys. So Spoelstra for example, might benefit from running Rondo into the ground. Would be good to change the system as it is not a good one.

Dirk's votes were a joke but in my opinion the biggest joke was Pau Gasol getting more votes then LaMarcus, Marc Gasol or Zach Randolph!

LA is not an all star this year in my opinion. I can think of several PF playing better than him. Zach Randolph is one name that comes to mind almost immediately.

Pau Gasol and Dirk are not even in LaMarcus' league this season! In my opinion, giving minutes played and production LaMarcus is definitely an allstar this season. Not first team but second team. Coaches will help with that vote because fans just won't vote for him.

With the new format LA has a worse chance of making the team. Howard, Durant and Griffin will be the starters in the front court. Griffin sucks but he is too popular so he makes it. I think Duncan, Z-BO and David Lee all have as good of a case to make the team as LA. It is my bet that Duncan and Lee both make the team. If they take Rudy Gay then Z-BO might not make the team and LA could take his spot.

Right now LA is a borderline candidate.

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.

Charlotte is the team that would take the 13 and 10 for their 4th.

Not sure Oladipo or Mclemore is worth two late lottery picks, even in a weak draft.   I would LOVE to grab one of them but there is plenty of talent left. 2> 1 I would...
