Would this crazy dude help or hurt the blazers?

He can score but would his crazy antics hurt the team and what we are trying to build?

I don't know, it was just a thought, what you all think?

No apologies kenny! Good to see you back on the boards. With regard to West, I agree with your post more than I do the thread. I believe whatever contributions he would provide sparking the bench would be overshadowed by his behavior in the locker room, and his inevitable appearance on Jerry Springer. Much like Rider, Bonzi, and a host of other players both past and present, for all of his physical gifts and basketball abilities, dude just doesn't get it.

Yeah Bdawg, I think you're right. Even though our bench played better against the Cav's, I think something has to be done for our starters, they will completely be spent by the all star break. I know this is a rebuilding year, but we need to do something to help the guys were going forward with, I guess I just fear an injury to our really good starting five. To be honest I want to D.L. and M.L. to make the playoffs in their rookie year and that just won't happen if we don't get some scoring from the bench. I guess we will see what happens.

....In other hand getting Delonte wouldn't be a bad move either. He's decent sytem-player who'll do anything he's asked for on both ends. I don't think he's going to make the same personal mistakes because he's aware that his NBA career might be over soon due to his inconsistent professionalism  .But the main factor is he may be available for 1 year-low money and if off court things goes wrong he will be released (it doesn't affect our cap space because we're not expecting sign anybody this season and we won't resign all of Babbitt,Smith,Williams trio at the end of the season so we could extend him for another year ans still be in hunt for bigger FA's names. I'm not saying I'm totally supporting what I just wrote down but it might be consider as an option.

I'm less worried about West's impact on the rookies than I am on the city of Portland

West makes Kenyon Martin look like a really nice guy.

I heard West was a bad influence on Dallas's rookies, so  I wouldnt bring him in. If Barton, Babbit, Freeland and I guess Nolan play like they did at the CLE game then our bench is not that bad and we dont need to bring anyone else in this season.

You know what is good about the draft you can usually move up and down if your willing. We could have gotten Drummond and everyone here knows it. We also could have taken Harkless, or Henson at 11 or moved back a few spots. We also could have draf...
