    Should the Blazers try and trade for him?

     

    I don't think he's a superstar, and he is getting older. He had a great year for the Bucks lat year though, but apparently they have to have a big inactive due to a lack of guards in the rotation. Not through poor form last year, injury or discipline.

     

    He's still got plenty of value for mine, and could slot in nicely for a young team like the Blazers. Could start at C, or be the first big off the bench. I wouldn't mind having him on the team for a season or two while our other guys get some time under their belts.

     

    Thoughts?

    Drew Gooden looks like a contestant on that Ink Master show or something. Last time i remember seeing him, he had a nasty little 3 spiked goatee, and a little bubble of hair on the back of his skull. If he appeared more proffesional, then perhaps his game would follow. Until then, I'd say a big NO to Gooden.

    Bigs aren't the major concern as I still believe Freeland has got plenty to show yet

    Drew Gooden...naw..over paid over rated..not a guy who'll move the needle at this point and will eat up cap space

    Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.
