The Bucks waived G/F Bruce Bowen today. I think we should seriously consider signing him, for several reasons. First, he's a defensive stopper. Yes, he's lost a step or two, but I envision him as an 11th or 12th man who could be used to both teach our young guys and in situations that we either need to keep a lead and/or keep form getting into a bigger hole. Second, he could come cheap. Third, he would bring that "know how" that Coach Nate has for so long desired. That veteran presence would be a welcome addition to the veteran presences of Joel, Andre Miller, Steve Blake to help our young core of Roy, Bayless, Batum (who could become the best perimeter defender since Pippen with under Bowen's tutelage). Yes, he has been a dirty player throughout his career. But there is a difference between a dirty player and a low-character guy. He won 3 championships with the Popovich/Duncan Spurs. You don't win 3 championships with that team if you're a clubhouse cancer. He IS a dirty player, but he is NOT a bad guy. Remember, KP came from the Spurs organization, so he's familiar with Bowen.
I am a fan of B-Roy changing EVERYTHING.

although I do think that eraser head haircut is a little rediculous and outdated but none the less kid could either be huge or a complete bust and at this point if we had that number 1 pick I wouldn''t pass on him then I''d go out and get someone ...

Rip a cap hold is a number given to free agents. Basically the cap hold is added to the teams salaries at the start of free agency. So for example a team has 10 million in cap space but has 15 million in cap holds they are technically over the sal...

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.

As long as he stops pulling the ball down in the post I will be happy nothing more annoying than watching that happen several times a game

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
