As I'm sure many of you know, our beloved L-Train ranked #23 on NBA rank for the 2010-2011, when he really started coming into his own in the second half of the season.  In 2011-2012, he was consistent throughout the entire season (until his injury) and carried the team.  So the question is, where do you think he'll land on the list this time around? Numbers 41-50 were released today and some impressive names like Amar'e Stoudemire and Al Jefferson were there.  How much better is LaMarcus than these players? NBA rank also takes into account how pivotal the player is to his particular team. LaMarcus is our number one player obviously, so that will help his rank somewhat.  I'm calling 21. I don't think he'll break the top 20, but hopefully I'm wrong! What do ya'll think?

With a sponge like Lillard at the helm, let us expect the NorthWest  curse related worse, but hope for the best. Im an optimist, but what the hell do i know. Rip City is going to shock the conference.

Well looks like I was wrong, KG got number 21 this year.  So LaMarcus cracked the top 20! Good to see him beat out KG this time around.  So hopefully LaMarcus beats out Nash and Bosh, which I think he will. My revised ranking for LaMarcus is 18.

Wow, #2 among PF's is sweet, good to hear Aldridge's talents getting more recognition on the big stage. I'm thinkin that's gotta put him above 18 overall though right?

I read a post on Hoops World that rated LaMarcus as the #2 power forward in the league. Just sayin.
I am a fan of JJ Hickson, he's the heart of the Blazers, his motor is always running.Where would we be without his dbl, dbls.

Exactly WB, we know he's the #2 PF (and Nico is the #7 SF, I believe?) but the number we're talkin about here is the overall player rating :)

Wow im shocked he was at 20, and I'm a little angry that Chris Bosh is rated ahead of him. Chris Bosh maybe more versatile but LA's game is way more solid and consistent than Bosh

WOW these ratings are so BS!!!!!!! NO way Beal should have been rated ahead of LIllard.
BUT MOST OF ALL NO WAY ALDRIDGE IS 20!!!!!!!

Carmelo, Nash, Bosh, and Parker are not better than Lamarcus. La had more Points, Rebounds, FG% than Bosh. Nash cant play defense to save his life. Parker is overated. NO way Parker jumped 12 spots from last year. Melo doesnt play D, terrible shooting numbers, and is a ball hog. Lamarcus totally should have been top 15. Cant believe that Blakc Griffin is higher than LA!!!!!!!!

    HATE THESE RANKINGS!!!!!

See my post in the other thread about LaMarcus' ranking vs Kevin Love, this stuff is all about promotion and fanboy appeal, not the player's actual skills... and remember "Preseason rankings doth not the better player make"!

I'd rather shut people up during the season than have em see us coming, anyway. Bring on the best and watch them fall like the rest. Rip City, baby.

    I''d trade for Asik.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.
