This is not counting JJ and Jeffries, add them we are at about $70M.  With the Salary Cap at about $58M, it is time to get Creative.  Paul Allen wants to be right at the CAP and not have a Luxury Tax Bill like the Lakers.

    Who makes the cut?

OOPs correct this, I accidentally added in ROy's salary (wishful think for a healthy Roy).  SO with the little that we have left and with the room we will have after cuts, who do we sign?

Their numbers are a lot more accurate case in point we signed Freeland to a 3 year 9 million dollar contract not a five year deal. We bought out Williams and Gomes so both of those numbers count on our cap this year. Price signed a two year deal. Claver does not make more than Freeland.

So as it stands we are just under the salary cap. Problem is looking at the next three seasons we have no cap room. We need to make one more signing to get over the cap because a 5 million dollar mid level and our bi annual exception next year is a lot better than having the 2.5 million room exception.

What does 100 mil buy you?  The 2012-13 Los Angeles Lakers.  No worries BlazerManiac.  Our payroll will not come anywhere NEAR that of the Lakers.  Thus, their ticket prices have skyrocketed.  The average cost to see a game in the Forum this coming season is somewhere in the neighborhood of $367 A SEAT, which is double what it was last year.  To see Miami in the Forum?  You'll be paying $100 MORE than that.  I'd rather drop a buck or two into a local Redbox to see Superman myself.

A quick look at Portland's payroll suggests this upcoming season for many, if not most on the roster, is simply an extended audition/tryout.

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.

Charlotte is the team that would take the 13 and 10 for their 4th.

Not sure Oladipo or Mclemore is worth two late lottery picks, even in a weak draft.   I would LOVE to grab one of them but there is plenty of talent left. 2> 1 I would...
